# Read a full FPL mini-league roast

This synthetic Gameweek demonstrates the shape, detail, and tone of Fantasy Pundit commentary. Every league, manager, team, and score below is fictional.

## Quietly Annoying made the noise

The six-point invitation was accepted. Eighty-two points took first place and left Spreadsheet FC reviewing the wording of last week’s confidence.

### An answer at the top

Last week, Quietly Annoying were asked whether second place was a title challenge or simply a nice view. Blair supplied the answer before Sunday lunch: 82 points, a captain return worth 26 of them, and first place secured by thirteen.

Spreadsheet FC scored 63 and fell to second. That is not a collapse in most leagues. In a league with an actual spreadsheet, however, it is the sort of variance that earns its own emergency tab.

### Captaincy desk: safety worked, bravery worked more

Four managers backed the obvious captain and collected a respectable return. Blair went elsewhere and doubled the highest score in the league. This will be remembered as instinct right up until the same move produces four points next week.

Casey’s vice-captain scored eleven more than the armband pick. Bench Museum are now preserving points in several departments.

### The transfer window

Dev’s two arrivals returned 21 points between them and lifted Expected Toulouse from fifth to third. No hit, no speech, just the deeply irritating competence of a transfer working immediately.

Net Six and Chill took an eight-point hit, sold a ten-point return and finished on 41. Emery has not so much attacked the Gameweek as funded it.

### The weekly offence

Bench Museum left fourteen points unused, including the only clean sheet in Casey’s squad. The team still held fourth, which is encouraging if you ignore everything that happened to achieve it.

At this stage the bench is less a mistake than a philosophy. Guided tours begin on Monday.

### Next week

Quietly Annoying lead, Spreadsheet FC have new cells to colour, and Expected Toulouse are close enough to become inconvenient. Gameweek 13 now has one job: find out whether this was a takeover or merely a very loud visit.
