# Support

## Before reporting a problem

1. Confirm the client supports remote MCP servers over Streamable HTTP.
2. Confirm the server address is exactly `https://api.fantasypundit.lol/mcp`.
3. Try a numeric public league ID or exact FPL league URL instead of a league name.
4. If a Gameweek is live, wait until Fantasy Premier League finalises its scores.
5. If a job is queued or processing, poll the returned job ID after the suggested delay.

## Common misunderstandings

### Search found Fantasy Pundit but cannot call it

Web search discovery and a connected MCP server are different. Add or approve the connector using the [guided setup](/connect/mcp/).

### The assistant produced its own roast

For the official edition, it should use the three [canonical commentary tools](/docs/mcp-tools/) and return completed commentary without rewriting it.

### A league name returns several choices

Choose the right candidate, or paste the exact public FPL league URL. Never guess from similar names.

### Generation is limited or paused

Do not retry in a tight loop. Published editions remain readable; new editions can be requested later.
